Sweet and Spicy Red Chutney
Ingredients
Water-2Cups
Tamarind Seedless-1 1/2tbsp
Sugar-1 Cup
Black Salt-1/2tbsp
Black Pepper Powder-1/2tsp
Red Chili Flakes-1/2tsp or Red Chili Powder-1/2tsp
Red Food Color
Corn Flour-1tbsp (Mix with 4 tablespoons of water)
Directions
- Pour the water, tamarind, and Sugar into the pan and let it cook on medium heat for fifteen minutes. After that, filter the water and add a half cup of water with all the other ingredients. Cook for another two minutes. Finally, add the red food color and the corn flour mixture. Let it cook for five minutes more. If it feels thick, you can add more water.
