Ginger Paste-1tbsp
Garlic Paste-1 tbsp
Tomatoes Large-5
Tomatoes Sauce-1 tbsp
Green Chili Medium Size-4
Yogurt Blended-3tbsp
Salt as Taste
Black Pepper-1tbsp
Directions
- Heat one cup of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for about one minute until aromatic.
- Add the mutton to the pan and fry for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and a light sear on the meat.
- Pour in one cup of water, cover the pan with a lid, and cook the mutton on medium heat for 35-40 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking or burning.
- After 35-40 minutes, remove the lid and add five large tomatoes to the pan. Fry for one minute.
- Cover the pan again and cook for another 4-5 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften.
- Uncover the pan, remove the tomato skins, and mash the tomatoes in the pan.
- Add one tablespoon of tomato sauce and three tablespoons of yogurt. Fry the mixture thoroughly until the mutton becomes tender and the oil begins to separate.
- Season the dish with salt and black pepper to taste, then add thin slices of fresh ginger for extra flavor.
- Fry for one more minute to blend the flavors.
