Sweet and Salty Apricot Green Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
Dried Apricots-300gm
Imli Seedless-1/2 tbsp
Green Chili-4
Mint Leaves-1 Cup
Coriander Leaves-1 Cup
Lemon Juice-2 tbsp
Chat Masala-1 tsp
Black Salt- 1/2 tsp or as taste
Yogurt- 1 Cup (250gm)
Water-1 Cup for Chutney
Water- 1 1/2 Cups for Boiling
Directions
- Boil 1.5 cups of water and add dried apricots along with seedless tamarind. Let it cook for 15 minutes until the apricots and tamarind soften.
- Once cooked, remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.
- After cooling, gather the ingredients: mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala, black salt (or adjust to taste), yogurt, and a cup of water for the chutney mixture.
- Combine the cooked apricot and tamarind mixture with the mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala, black salt, yogurt, and water in a grinder or blender.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more water while blending.
- The chutney is now ready to be served. It can be enjoyed with pani puri, pulao, biryani, or barbecue.
